Salads

Potato Salad

  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 1/2 cup freshly chopped mint leaves
  • 1 cup chopped shallots
  • creamy praise mayonaise
Dice potatoes and steam in microwave for 8-10 minutes. When cool add mint & shallots, stir in mayonaise.

Potato Bake (1)

  • 6 medium potatoes, sliced
  • lrge thickened cream
  • pkt french onion soup mix
  • grated cheese

Place sliced potatoes in microwave proof dish. Combine cream and soup mix and pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with a little cheese. Microwave uncovered for 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft.

Potato Bake (2) 

  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 6 boiled eggs
  • 1 sliced onion
  • praise mayonaise
  • grated cheese

Slice potatoes and steam in microwave for 8-10 minutes until soft. Place potatoes in dish, spoon mayonaise all over potatoes. Slice boiled eggs and place over potato mixture, top with sliced onion, sprinkle cheese on top. Bake in oven for 20 minutes.

Pasta Salad

  • Pkt pasta shells or spirals
  • praise mayonaise
  • 2 carrots - shredded
  • 1 cup chopped shallots
  • 5 boiled eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

Cook pasta, drain and allow to cool. Add carrots, shallots, sliced eggs and cheese, stir in lots of mayonaise.

Toss Salad

  • lettuce of your choice
  • 1 sliced avacado
  • 1 diced tomato
  • 3/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup chopped shallots
  • thinly sliced carrot pieces
  • sliced leb cucumber
  • favourite no oil salad dressing

Combine all ingredients in bowl, toss with dressing.



 

Chicken Ceaser Salad (for 5)

  • Cos lettuce
  • 1 sliced avacado
  • garlic butter
  • sliced turkish bread
  • parmasen cheese
  • 1 cup cooked chopped bacon
  • 4 sliced boiled eggs
  • wedged tomatoes
  • chicken tenderloins/breast
  • ceaser dressing (woolworths select brand)

Salad:Wash lettuce chop, and divide onto each plate, top with cooked bacon, sliced eggs, tomato wedges, avacado and sprinkle parmasen. Pour desired amount of dressing over salad.

Chicken: Grill chicken with fav marinade sauce for flavour. Cut chicken into long slices and place on top of salad.

Turkish bread: lightly grill once side of turkish slices, spread garlic butter on untoasted side and top with shredded parmasen, lightly grill and serve with ceaser.
